On Friday 15 October, Year 11 students were able to learn more about the following pathways through a range of virtual presentations and activities - please see photos at the bottom of this page. Options are:
- Continuing studies within a sixth form centre
- Applying to a college of further education
- Applying to study a T-Level - at a sixth form centre or college
- A further education course at the Peterborough UTC
- Applying for an apprenticeship and the different levels and sectors available
- Work based training
Students also had the opportunity to learn more about a new career platform, XELLO, with they can access alongside their Unifrog account. The Unifrog platform has an extensive virtual careers library and activities to help students compare and contrast their options.
One year 11 student remarked “I found the talks really useful and it's good to have another layer of support for us"
Mrs Taylor, Careers Lead, commented:
“We would like to thank the organisations who gave up their time to provide presentations, information and advice to our students. Our aim is to ensure students can make well- informed decisions about the progression route that is right for them, whilst developing key skills and being able to conduct independent research.
We have also put together a Post 16 overview for parents and carers.
