Sixth Form Uniform

We encourage students in the Sixth Form to dress in a businesslike manner.  Therefore please see the attached uniform policy which is simple and functional.

Any clothing must be appropriate for school. Hoodies and sweatshirts are not part of school uniform and should not be worn. Belly buttons should not be exposed; no plunging necklines and the only acceptable logos are school ones.  Styles of hair must comply with the whole school policy.  No facial piercings are allowed. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that it is illegal for a young person under 18 to have a tattoo.  Where a young person does have a tattoo it must not be visible.

Please note that only the school logoed polo shirt will be acceptable.  The polo shirts are embroidered with the school badge and “The Deepings School Sixth Form”.  This is the only embroidery which will be allowed on the shirts.  Polo shirts are available in a “Male” or “Female” fit and students can order whichever style they prefer, the “Male” fit is more generous whilst the “Female” fit is shorter and slightly more shaped.  The polo shirts are available to purchase for approximately £9.50 from the approved stockists listed below.  Please be aware the stockists may not have items in stock so you could be required to place an order.

Our dress code can be found below.  If there is any doubt over an item of clothing, a member of the Sixth Form Management Team will determine whether it is appropriate for school.
