Sixth Form Open Evening

Back to News

Sixth Form Open Evening on the 4th of February was the best one we have ever run. There was a really uplifting vibe around the whole school that evening, provided by the staff and the sixth form students.

It was lovely to walk around the various classrooms and see such a huge percentage of our students here talking in such an animated fashion about the various subjects they are studying to all of the prospective Sixth Formers.

We gained a lot of very positive feedback from all students that attended this evening, including what amazing facilities we have here, what a friendly place the Deepings School is and how impressed people were with our academic achievement and pastoral care.

It was great to see the subjects really pull out all of the stops and showcase all of their best work. Special mention to Mr Durham in sociology, trying to challenge people’s expectations of what is normal by wearing a multi-coloured Mohican wig all night!

If anyone has any further questions about Sixth Form life or any of the courses please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Sixth Form Team.
