A huge thank you from The Deepings School to community colleagues

Back to News

The Deepings School held a community buffet after school to thank local businesses, community associations and other colleagues who work with the school throughout the year.

Guests were warmly welcomed by Deputy Head Ian Ladley, school staff and Governors and took the opportunity to meet up with other supporters of the school, enjoying a superb buffet and refreshments provided by the school’s excellent catering team.

Visitors included representatives from First Responders, Deepings Lions, New College Stamford, local councillors, Shotbowl, The Deepings Advertiser and many more.

Mr Ladley gave a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and highlighted how their continued work with the students and school was very important. There was also the opportunity to view the impressive architectural visuals showing the designs for the school’s new Art, Design and Technology Centre, which is due to open towards the end of 2019 and will be an excellent new resource for students and staff.

Mrs Taylor, Careers & Events Manager said:

“We were very pleased that so many of our colleagues could take the time to join us for a pre-Christmas celebration at this busy time of the year. We have strong working relationships with many organisations and this event provided an ideal opportunity for us to come together and show our appreciation of the work they do to support our school.”
