Ryman National Enterprise Challenge Finals!

On Tuesday our winning team from the year 9 enterprise event, held in school back in February, travelled to the Telford International Centre to take part in the national finals.  Competing against 160 other schools, our ‘Ryman Run’ team performed brilliantly as they presented their new App to a panel of judges – and made them laugh with their role play of an advertisement too!

Although the team did not win overall, they made the most of the opportunities available and listened to some inspiration words from ex Dragon Theo Paphitis and Olympic Gold Medallist, Joe Clarke. They spoke about working hard, being determined and that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them.

James and Tyler also made it up on stage to take part in a quiz towards the end of the event!

Students summed up the day with the following comments:

Tyler“A fantastic experience with lots of fun and some useful tips”

Maddie“A unique opportunity, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and have learned not to be afraid to make mistakes”

James: “A once in a lifetime opportunity”
