Year 10 football

V’s Bourne Academy

A really good performance by the year 10 squad away at Bourne Academy in rainy conditions.  A 3-1 win with goals from Vance Holland (2) and Toby Dunn (1).  There were some good individual performances.  Cameron Baldock Smith in midfield worked well keeping the ball moving and even won his side two penalties with some good forward runs.  Vance Holland with his willingness to harass the opposition defenders.  Also, the back four who kept it tight and produced a mature display of defending in difficult conditions.  Well done!

Year 11 Netball V’s Bourne Academy

The year 11’s travelled to Bourne Academy for their second game of the season with an extremely depleted team. Luckily, some year 10 netball players were at hand to help out. With a thrown together team and the rain pelting down the girls still managed to play some good netball and lead from the start. The weather lightened up and both teams displayed some quality netball with superb link play. Deepings ended the game victorious – well done, girls!!
