Parent Support Page

We are excited to welcome you as parents to The Deepings School.  We appreciate some of you may have children at the school already and some of you will be embarking on life at secondary school for the very first time as a parent.  Some of you may have been students at our school yourselves.  We are delighted that you have chosen our school because you believe it is the best place for your child/ren to flourish over the next 5 to 7 years, we believe this too.

We really look forward to working with you and your child/ren. We want you to have a really positive experience over the coming months so you are ready to embark on the next phase of education.

We appreciate the support that you will be providing your child over the coming months and understand some of the worries you may have.  We will do our very best to alleviate these worries and reassure you that you have made the right decision to join our school community.  We believe that, by addressing any concerns, this will help your child feel prepared and excited about joining us in the autumn term.

Our vision as a school is to help our students grow into well-rounded individuals, equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to lead happy, meaningful lives within society.  We believe we can achieve this by working in partnership with parents and this is the starting point in achieving our shared aim.

This page will provide you with valuable resources to help support you and your child as you navigate this journey in these uncertain times.

We also actively encourage you to engage with us at the school. I would like to reassure you that we will be open, honest and sensitive to any specific needs you may have.  Please feel free to use the following email address to make direct contact with us, we will work hard to get back to you as quickly as possible: admissions@deepings.anthemtrust.uk

Finally, although this period may be filled with many emotions, we hope that during your transition the main emotion will be excitement as you prepare for life in Year 7 and that any concerns will subside.  It is a really exciting time; your child/ren have the opportunity make a positive start to the next phase of their education and be the person they, and you, really believe they can be.
