ACC Member Profiles

Roger Gale

Chair of ACC

I have taken early retirement and have time to devote to a worthwhile local organisation.

I am very people focussed and have over 30 years voluntary experience with young people. Through work I have extensive commercial and financial experience at a very senior level, negotiating and media skills.

Graham Down

I was previously a Governor before we relocated to this area.

I am strongly driven and believe that one must put time into the community to generate uplift.

I want a social responsibility activity and know the requirements and how rewarding the Governance role is.

Ketan Keshwala

I am interested in the school's improvement and seeing it get back to its historically very strong reputation, performance and rating for enhancing children's futures.

Helen Morgan

I have an interest in education and have two children who attend the school. I have a desire to support the school and to benefit the wider community.

I was branch secretary and events coordinator at a local CIPS branch and have lectured in CIPS at Peterborough Technical College. I have helped with literacy support at William Hildyard school for 5 years. I am an active campaigner for the community library and organised the first Deepings Literary festival.

Zoe Rock

I have been a member of staff here for ten years and want to be part of driving the school forward.

I live in the community and feel passionate about the school improving for the benefit of our students. I am a member of the SCITT which gives me the opportunity to go into other schools and have a good working knowledge of what is going in the area in other schools in the area and think this would be a useful insight. I would also like to be more informed on how school decisions are made and how these impact on what happens in school. I would also like the opportunity to represent staff needs at a higher level.

Kate Shinkins-Hoppe

I am interested in education; having worked at both Primary and Early Years Levels. I recently left full-time employment and would enjoy having an opportunity to learn about KS3 and beyond.

I am used to working in committees and so am able to make decisions on the information available. I enjoy the challenge of dealing with problems, finding solutions and resolutions. I am usually very well organised and can managed a full diary well.

Luke Thornhill

It is important for me to be an active member to the school and local area. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to give something back and contribute where I can.

I help others learn by sharing my knowledge, which I am always willing to do. I work very well on my own and as part of a team. I deal with all aspects of the business including governance, compliance, making business decisions, communicating at all levels and managing external relationships.
