The following page outlines the school's procedures for receiving Year 13 and Year 11 results on Thursday 13 August 2020 and Thursday 20 August 2020 respectively.
The current government and Department for Education guidance (links on the left, quote from the second below) would make it extremely difficult to have approximately 258 students on site at once to collect results:
"It is still important to reduce contact between people as much as possible, and we can achieve that and reduce transmission risk by ensuring children, young people and staff where possible, only mix in a small, consistent group and that small group stays away from other people and groups."
Therefore, we are opting to release results via email from 8.00am on Thursday 13 August 2020 for Year 13 students and 8.00am on Thursday 20 August 2020 for Year 11 students. No students or parents/ carers should attend the site on these days.
Year 11 students who have applied to our sixth form will receive a separate email from 9.00am on Thursday 20 August 2020 giving them an update about their application and the courses they have chosen.
All emails will be sent to the student's school email address, with the parent copied in if the student has given permission for this to happen; we are not allowed to share results with parent/ carers without the permission of the student. There is a link to the school email system on the left.
Parents or students who wish to talk to a member of staff on the day are asked to ring 01778 381 742 on the day and leave a message. A member of the school's senior leadership or sixth form admissions team will call you back as soon as possible.
