School thanks Deeping St James United Charities

Back to News

On Thursday 23rd March we were delighted to welcome representatives Carol Precey, Trevor Harwood and Pete Ward to the school from the local group Deeping St James United Charities.    This well-established charity works extremely hard in our community to provide assistance to local residents and organisations.

We are very grateful to have received funding this year for a new piano for use at the school.  School musicians, Charlie Bennett, Isabella Hartley and Emily Maclennan enjoyed showing their skills on the piano to the Trustees and a plaque was unveiled to mark the donation by Head of Music,  Miss Sutton.

For further information on the work of United Charities please see their website:   They will consider providing financial assistance to any residents of Deeping St James and Frognall in need of help and an allocation of their funds are held here at the school for families who need assistance with such things as, for example, uniform purchase, support with music tuition fees and support with statutory trips.  If you would like to enquiry about assistance please contact Lisa Goodchild, School Business Manager, on 01778 381741 or email in confidence, or phone United Charities on 01778 344707.
