Dear Families of the Deepings School

It was a pleasure to welcome back our students this week after the half term break. Assembly themes this week have been a reminder of our school expectations. This is an assembly I lead on a half termly basis, as it is important to remind all students and staff of the expectations we have in and around the school along with our values of Kindness, Respect and Ambition. There is such a difference in our school community as a result of reinforcing our values and expectations which I am increasingly proud of.

Year 11 sat their final PPE examination today. I know there will be much relief all round for them this weekend without the pressure of revision. Results will be issued in a couple of week's time which will be accompanied by an in person Parent's Evening to discuss progress. More information to follow regarding this from Mr Smith. Year 13 continue with their mock exams over the next week. For these pivotal year groups, the exam season is rapidly looming.

Our rewards store continues to be incredibly popular with our students. Since launching 6 weeks ago students have spent a total of 203945 points! Well done to all of our students who thrive on collecting points and converting them to rewards. Thank you also to our reception staff and sixth form students who support the processing and delivery of orders on a daily basis. We continue to replenish stock as fast as possible and welcome further ideas about the types of rewards students wish to purchase.

Finally, Mrs Owens has been advertising an exciting opportunity for students to come forward and participate in a dance event at a rugby match in London, later in March. This event will be held at The Tottenham Hotspurs stadium and is supporting a ugly match between the Saracens and Harlequins. If your son or daughter wishes to sign up to this event it is not too late. Spaces are available. Please see the newsletter below for further information.

I wish you all a pleasant weekend.
