On 11 May 2020 the government announced that, “Secondary schools... should also prepare to begin some face to face contact with Year 10 and 12 pupils who have key exams next year, in support of their continued remote, home learning.”
In our Newsletter on 22 May 2020, we outlined our initial ideas about how we could re-open the school and provided photos of what the learning zones would look like.
On 28 May 2020 the government confirmed that secondary schools could start to open from 15 June 2020. The guidance about how this should happen has meant that we have had to change some of our original plans.
The following link summarises the changes that we have had to make to our plans for brevity: Summary of changes. However, we would strongly recommend that parents and students read all documents on this page again so that they are fully informed.
The links below aim to provide detailed information about how we plan to operate the school for a partial re-opening for Years 10 and 12 from 15 June 2020 and 22 June 2020 respectively.
